Chinese smartphone brand OnePlus has confirmed that it will offer lifetime display warranty on its next phone OnePlus 13s. The company revealed in a promotional video teasing a new green colour option for the phone, that the display repair programme will apply for any instances of the green line issue. OnePlus also stated that “user/external damage” won’t be covered by warranty.
This comes after the company announced an extension of lifetime display warranty to all its existing OnePlus devices with a back to front screen replacement for OP6/ 6T under the ‘Green Line Worry-Free Solution’ across OnePlus Exclusive Service Centers. OnePlus has credited the decision to its developments in display technology, in order to fix the increasing issue of the green line. OnePlus also provided owners lifetime display warranty on its newly launched smartphones OnePlus 13 and 13R earlier this year.

For those unaware, the OnePlus 13s is soon to launch in India and this handset will come with a 6.32-inch display, the smallest among all the OnePlus 13 flagships series. The company has made certain key specifications official before the launch.

OnePlus 13s: What to expect
The OnePlus 13s SoCs are said to be the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite SoCs — just like the flagship OnePlus 13. It is likely to be offered with up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. The 6.32″ OLED panel is tipped to have FHD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, maximum brightness of 1,600 nits, and support for HDR10+ and Dolby Vision.
OnePlus has also verified that the 13s will get the “Plus Key,” which will be taking over the company’s iconic Alert Slider. This programmable button is able to be set to trigger tasks such as changing between audio profiles, opening the camera, activating the torch, recording audio and translating text.
On the camera front, the OnePlus 13s is probably going to have a combination of two 50MP sensors in the rear and a 16MP selfie camera in the front. It may pack a 6,260mAh battery that supports 80W fast charging via USB-C.
